Mindful Awareness Stabilization Training (MAST) is a four week group that teaches emotion regulation skills through education and mindfulness practice.
Mindfulness is present moment awareness. It means paying attention to our thoughts, emotions, and feelings in the body as they are happening. How Mindfulness Helps: The practice of mindful awareness can help us to feel better, especially if we are struggling with difficult emotions, fluctuations in our mood or physical pain.
Participants can expect to learn:
• What is mindfulness
• Emotion Regulation and window of tolerance
• Mindfulness of the body, thoughts and feelings
• How the brain/body processes stress and emotions
• About developing resources for self care
MAST will be offered at our Bramalea office. Every Thursdays from February 21 to March 14 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
