Canadian Mental Health Association Peel Dufferin (CMHA Peel Dufferin) is the leading client-driven, community-based mental health organization serving the Region of Peel and the County of Dufferin. CMHA Peel Dufferin champions good mental health for everyone and supports the full participation of those with mental illness and addictions in the life of the community. In addition to providing a variety of mental health services, we are committed to community development, mental health awareness and addressing the stigma surrounding mental illness.
We are recruiting for a candidate with a professional accounting designation. Key responsibilities of the Audit Committee include reviewing:
- Quarterly financial statements
- Scope of audit plan with external auditors
- Audited annual financial statements
- Annual budget and additional budget changes
- Senior Management questionnaires
The Audit Committee meets 5-6 times per year, generally on a Tuesday evening, in south Brampton. The Annual General Meeting is in September.
