What is Recovery West?
Recovery West is a peer support program offering drop-in peer support, groups, vocational services, and a Recovery College.
What are the major benefits?
During drop in hours, members are welcome to come by and spend time with us! Recovery West members have access to games and crafts, can watch TV, enjoy a snack, connect with friends, join a peer group or social rec activity. Peer Support Workers are available to help with goal setting, safety planning, or whatever you’d like to talk about – just ask!
Peer support groups offer a safe space to share and support one another. Recovery College courses provide educational opportunities to learn about wellness and recovery, and earn a certificate. For more information including group calendars, check out our Groups Page.
Vocational Support Workers help with employment and education goals. For more information about Vocational Services, click here.
Who can benefit?
- Open to adults (16 and older) living with mental health and/or addiction concerns.
