CMHA Peel Dufferin earns Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice™ (NEOC) Award for third year in a row

Brampton, ON: February 22, 2023 – Hilborn Charity eNews together with partner CCEOC Inc. congratulate the recipients of the eighth annual Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice™ (NEOC) Award.
This year, sixteen organizations fulfilled program requirements to be named a Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice.
The 2022 award recipients are:
Canadian Mental Health Association – Peel Dufferin (ON), Canadian Mental Health Association – York Region and South Simcoe (ON), Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada (ON), Chilliwack Society for Community Living (BC), Colleges and Institutes Canada (ON), Connective Support Society (BC), Calgary Urban Project Society – CUPS (AB), Ducks Unlimited Canada (MB), Edmonton Humane Society (AB), Lakeland Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Society (AB), Louis Brier Home and Hospital (BC), Richmond Hospital Foundation (BC), Ronald McDonald House of Southern Alberta (AB), UNICEF Canada (ON), Work Wellness Institute (BC), York Support Services Network (ON).
All winners successfully completed the NEOC Organizational Profile and Employee Commitment Survey achieving a minimum overall score of 75% to qualify for the award.
The Nonprofit Employer of Choice™ (NEOC) Award is a tool that measures a nonprofit’s leadership attributes, HR practices and employee opinions.
“We are thrilled to receive this award for the third year in a row and we are grateful to our invaluable team of employees who make everything we do for our clients possible,” said David Smith, CEO, CMHA Peel Dufferin. “It’s also a wonderful way to let those considering jobs in our organization see our level of commitment to supporting staff and to making a difference in the community.”
