What is the Peel Outreach Program?
The Peel Outreach Program offers mobile support to individuals and families aged 16+ who are unhoused or at risk of being unhoused. Delivered by a multidisciplinary team and supported by partner agencies, the program provides assistance across Mississauga, Brampton, Malton, Dufferin, Caledon, and Bolton. It also includes three place-based teams located in Port Credit, Cooksville, and Downtown Brampton to provide hyper-local support. This multi-agency collaboration includes the Region of Peel, Peel Addiction Assessment and Referral Centre (PAARC), Services and Housing in the Province (SHIP), and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Peel Dufferin.
The team brings together expertise in mental and physical health, nursing, addictions and concurrent disorders, housing advocacy, financial assistance, and more.
