Mental Health Week 2025: Unmasking Mental Health Together
May 2, 2025
From May 5–11, join CMHA Peel Dufferin in recognizing Mental Health Week 2025, part of a national campaign to break down stigma and create authentic connections. This year’s theme is Unmasking Mental Health.
Living with a mental health or addiction challenge is already difficult — masking those struggles to avoid judgment only adds to the burden. When we remove the mask and allow ourselves to be seen, we open the door to deeper support, understanding, and healing.
We’re proud to offer a series of free, public events throughout the week to support our community’s well-being:

The toolkit includes social media graphics, conversation starters, e-signatures, and more to help you join the movement.
💚 Let’s unmask mental health — together.
Whether you attend an event, share your story, or simply check in with someone you care about, your actions can make a difference. Mental health affects us all — and so does the power of compassion, connection, and community.
