CMHA Peel Dufferin to Lead New HART Hub in Brampton
Jan 30, 2025

CMHA Peel Dufferin is proud to announce that we have been approved as the lead agency for the new Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub in Brampton. This initiative, supported by the Ontario government, is a crucial step in addressing the pressing needs of individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction in our community.
The HART Hub will provide integrated, wraparound services to ensure that individuals have access to primary care, social services, crisis support, addiction treatment, housing assistance, and mental health care, all under one roof. This initiative will remove barriers to care, helping people receive the support they need to recover and rebuild their lives.
This is an important step forward in expanding essential services in Peel Region, but we know there is still more work to do. CMHA Peel Dufferin will continue to advocate for equitable access to mental health, addiction, and homelessness services across the region.
With funding secured, CMHA Peel Dufferin and our 18 community partners are working diligently to bring the Hub to life. By enhancing service coordination, this initiative will reduce reliance on emergency departments and justice services while ensuring culturally responsive, client-centered care.
Stay tuned for updates as we move forward in launching this transformative service for the Peel Region.
