Outreach Winter Clothes Drive

Our Outreach team at CMHA Peel Dufferin is in need of winter clothes but we cannot do it alone. We need your help. Outreach supports those less fortunate in the community, they provide mobile support to individuals who are homeless or economically vulnerable. Many factors contribute to homelessness, people with serious mental health conditions make up a disproportionately high number of those living on the street. On average, Peel Street Helpline receives more than 10,000 calls per year.

Give the gift of warmth. Outreach is looking for winter apparel – jackets, gloves, dark coloured track pants or jeans, boxers/briefs and boots/shoes. We accept online donations and new winter apparel.

Anyone can participate; schools, community groups, families, individuals and charities. If you have a large donation of winter apparel we’d be more than happy to pick it up. Please contact us to schedule a pickup.

Our team also offers presentations to schools to build awareness of homelessness and the programs we offer. Please contact Outreach if you are interested.
