Counselling and Treatment – Dufferin

The Mental Health Counsellors provide 6-8 sessions (once every 3-4 weeks). Goals for counselling are guided by the OCAN and are recovery oriented.
Who can benefit?
Adults over the age of 18 who have moderate to severe mental health concerns.
What are the major benefits?
- Short-term therapeutic interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Attachment theory – all provided in a client centred and trauma informed way.
- We also offer a 12 week Mood Management Group and a 16 week Emotion Regulation Group for individuals in service.
