Impact provides youth with substance abuse education and harm reduction strategies in individual and group settings. Support is also offered to connect youth to community resources.
What is Impact?
Impact provides youth support with cutting down and/or stopping substance use through education and both harm reduction and abstinence-based strategies.
Who can benefit?
Anyone 12-18+ years old who experiences difficulties as a result of substance use or substance use in conjunction with mental health concerns.
What are the major benefits?
- Help to identify triggers, warning signs and to develop alternative positive coping skills.
- Individual case management support to develop and achieve personal recovery goals.
- Support is also offered in group settings and to connect youth to external community resources.
